- We're trying to find an off-the-shelf freeware bulletin board system for our
- Web site. Our Server Provider has tried Hypernews and looked at CoCo Board
- but doesn't like these solutions as they are programmed in Perl. I understand
- that Perl scripts create a high demand on the Servers CPU when people are in
- the process of posting to the Bulletin board. Apparently, a programme
- scripted in C would be far more efficient and therefore gentler on the
- server. Is anyone aware of a Web-based BBS written in C which is easy to use
- and easy to install on a Unix server?
